What is S&M

Although we’ll be concentrating more on bondage than S&M, we’ll still give you the basics to whet your appetite for this erotic practice. S&M is growing in popularity because of fetish gatherings and S&M soirees.

People bring along whips, paddles, canes and nipple clamps to act out their S&M fantasies with their partner in front of a small crowd, or with a willing participant who’s looking for an S&M buddy. These fetish parties can be excellent fun as well as a great way to see modern S&M in action.

Whips and paddles, etc, are all designed to help you and your partner straddle that pain/pleasure divide with varying degrees. Exactly how much pain you cause to one another is something you must discuss beforehand and try out through safe experimentation.

Pain is an incredibly intense sensation, which involves the release of endorphins to increase your orgasm to unbelievable heights, but it must be done properly while respecting the threshold of your partner and what he/she finds bearable.

If you and your partner want to try your hand at some light-hearted S&M, load up on spanking paddles such as the Sportsheets Love Hearts, Love or Slut Spanking Paddles and lightly spank each other's bottoms or other erogenous areas lightly to begin with, eventually building up the vigour of each spank.

You could also indulge in some pleasurable whipping with the Sportsheets Rubber Whip, Joyce Jones Cat O Nine-tails whip, the Dildo Whip (which sports a handy six-inch dildo) and the extremely naughty Hand Whip that will a kinky imprint on your lover's backside!

Female domination

Femdom, or female dominance, refers to BDSM activities where the dominant partner is female; the submissive partner may be of either sex. A female dominant is sometimes called a domme , femdomme, domina, or dominatrix. In the English speaking world, "Mistress" is by far the most common dominatrix title, while in most of continental Europe, the most common titles are, and some are etymologically related, Maitresse, Maid, Maidress, Matress, Mother, Mate, Madre, or "Domina."

Femdom activities may draw on all areas of BDSM. Feminization and strap-on dildo play are common activities, as well as panty fetishism and boot worship. Cuckolding is also an area of female dominance.

Erotic humiliation can focus on the inadequacy of a male's penis, demoting it to a plaything for the dominatrix, over which the male has no real control. Related femdom activities include ballbusting, cock and ball torture (CBT), verbal humiliation, forced chastity, orgasm denial, and forced homosexuality (in which a dominant female forces a heterosexual male to engage in homosexual acts for her amusement, or as part of feminization)

Many participants in this lifestyle conform to the Safe, sane and consensual and RACK models prevalent in the BDSM Community.

Light female domination scenarios may involve ageplay, erotic spanking, cunnilingus and body worship, especially foot worship and ass worship. Heavier and more intense female domination scenarios may involve facesitting or smothering, which tend to focus on the sub giving the dominant female oral pleasure, or the dominant female performing anal sex on the sub using a strap-on dildo (see pegging). Other forms of more intense female domination can include face slapping, hair pulling, caning, heavy torture, dripping hot wax on the genitals and heavy whipping. For these purposes, note the issue of legal consent which may or may not represent a defense to criminal liability for any injuries caused.

In extreme scenarios, there is a focus on exchange of bodily fluids and total forfeit of rights from the slave (TPE), and acts may involve spitting domination or watersports (also known as golden showers). Some dominant women expect to be served orally during their menstrual periods, a practice that is known as having a sub earn his "red wings".

BDSM Symbol

BDSM- and fetish movements have spread widely in western societies' everyday life by different factors as avant-garde fashion, Rap, Hip-Hop, Heavy Metal, goth subculture and Science Fiction-TV series, and are often not consciously connected with their BDSM roots by many people. The use of Piercings is not scene typical anymore. While it was mainly bound to the Punk- and BDSM-subcultures in the 1990's, it has spread into wide parts of the western populations today.

The Leather Pride flag is a symbol for the Leather subculture and also widely used within BDSM. In continental Europe the Ring of O is wide spread among BDSM-Practitioners. The Triskelion, while quite common in the Anglo-Saxon communities, is less common in Europe. It has significantly higher degree of "signal impact" than the ring which is also common in Goth subculture and widely sold as bling jewelry.

Sadomasochism

The term "Sadomasochism" is derived from the words "Sadism" and "Masochism" . In the context of consensual sexual activities, sadism and masochism are not strictly accurate terms; there is a significant difference from the medical or psychological usage of both terms. Sadomasochism refers to the physical aspects of BDSM. Sadism describes sexual pleasure derived by inflicting pain, degradation, or humiliation on another person. On the other hand, the masochist enjoys being bound, spanked or suffering within the consensual scenario. Sadomasochists do not enjoy causing or receiving pain in other situations (e.g. accidental injury, medical procedures). Discipline often incorporates sadomasochistic aspects. Sadomasochism is practiced in isolation relatively rarely, although certain practices BDSM can be performed solo, such as self-bondage and autoerotic asphyxia, but such practices can be dangerous resulting injury or death.

Historical Methods of Torture

Tied in a Sack with Animals - A favorite practice in Ancient Rome. The frightened animals would go into a frenzy and tear the person and each other apart

Torn Apart Between Two Trees - Two trees would be pulled down so they would come together from opposite directions. One arm and leg would be tied to one tree, the other arm and leg to the other tree. Then, let go of the trees.

Torn Apart by Horses - A person is attached to four horses, one to each limb of the body. The horses then pull in oppostie directions, so that the person will become dismembered. Not a very effective method unless certain tendons in the limbs are pre-cut. Similar in effect to the rack.

Water Death - Person is forced to drink water until death occurs from distention and rupturing of the stomach.

Beheading by Axe or Sword - An executioner, usually hooded, chops off the person's head. In England more likely to be regarded as a 'humane' form of death reserved for the nobility while the 'common' people went to the gallows.

Beating to Death - For example when American slaves were beaten to death by their masters until they died, often using heavy bullwhips that cut right to the bone.

Boiling Alive - Intensely painful way of killing people, popular in the Middle Ages

Buried Alive - Widely used around the world throughout the ages. For example, in India they buried women in sand up to their necks, then left them, head emerged only, to bake in the sun.

Red butts technique

Red butts technique.

The scene begins with the spanked standing at the right of the punisher. Make her take position on your lap by herself, or help her by grabbing her right wrist with your left hand and giving her a tug forward for making her fall in place. As very little effort is necessary to make her fall when her thighs hit yours, she will feel overpowered and dominated.

The spanked should rest with all her weight on the lap of the spanker. Depending on her height, her hands and feet can be on the air, or just touching the floor. If the spanked is a male, his penis should rest firmly on your thighs, pointing downward and to the left (unless his reaction to the scene precludes this).

Your left hand should rest on the small of the back of the spanked, or grabbing her waist. Your left elbow should rest higher on the spanked’s back, if possible between the shoulder blades, for pining her down. Even if we show the hands of the spanked hanging, probably the left hand will grab the leg of the chair for stability. If at any moment her right arm flies back for protection, grab it with your left hand and hold it at the waist or the small of her back.
If her hands become a problem, you could hold both of the punished hands on her back, after binding them is necessary.
If her legs try come up, a couple of hard slaps on the thighs should be all that is needed to bring them down fast.

The buttocks will be better presented if your right leg is a little higher than your left is, maybe resting your right toes on the floor and your heel on the leg of the chair. A box, a brick or a short piece of 2”x 4” wood under your right heel will help to your comfort if you plan to spank for a long time.

The position seems simple, but as you know if you have been spanked, the spanker is out of balance and with very little support, so it is difficult for her to get free of your hold, no matter how much she wriggles. She is actually almost defenseless.

Sometimes the position with the head hanging down makes the punished a little dizzy. Should this happen, modify the position making her upper body rest on another chair, or using a couch or the edge of a bed.

If the spanked is bigger or much stronger than the spanker, the position can be modified by making her rest on your left knee, trapping her legs with your right one. In this variation, the spanked should rest somewhat diagonally, with her head at the side of the chair, for improving her buttock’s positioning. It has a drawback (?), which is that the left hip of the punished will rub against very sensible parts of your anatomy.
