What is BDSM

BDSM is term used to describe two or three sexual fetish activities.
There are three major areas that are encompassed in the term BDSM.
They are :
Bondage and Discipline (B&D) = BD
Dominance and Submission (D/s,) = DS
Sadism and Masochism, Sadomasochism (S/M, S&M) = SM

sut a little more precise definition:

BDSM: A composite acronym for "B&D" (bondage & discipline); "D&S"
(dominance & submission); and "S&M" (sadomasochism). Used to refer
to any consensual activities or lifestyles between adults which include some
or all of these things. The term "BDSM" is used in a general sense to describe
any situation or practice which includes erotic power exchange, dominance and
submission, pain play, bondage, sensation play, or anything related to these.

Webster's Dictionary:

Bondage: "A state of being bound usually by compulsion; servitude or subjugation
to a controlling person or force"

Domination: "supremacy or preeminence over another; exercise of mastery
or preponderant influence"

Masochism: "A sexual perversion characterized by pleasure in being subjected to pain or humiliation esp. by a love object; pleasure in being abused or dominated"

Sadism: "A sexual perversion in which gratification is obtained by the infliction of physical or mental pain on others; delight in cruelty"

Sadomasochism: "The derivation of pleasure from the infliction of physical or
mental pain either on others or on oneself"

Submission: "An act of submitting to the authority or control of another"
